  • 2016, conteneurs, acier, grue télescopique, 20 x 10 m (mobile)

An invitation to imagine a sculpture for a public space during a summer was complicated by the presence of a construction site. Thinking it was a starting point rather than a problem, I decided that my project would come out of the construction site itself, as if the workers built a sculpture during their break with what they could find around them (containers, metal, bolts). Feeling that the piece should be identified as art by almost anyone, I held from a crane a 20 meter long mobile (as an obvious and tender hommage to A. Calder) offering the rare situation of a public sculpture in motion above the passers by.
